Heather Street, Parnell

Heather Street Parnell involved the modernization and potential extension of an older styled commercial building in Parnell that was at the end of it’s practical lifespan. The intention of the project was to create boutique and leasable office space within the existing structure.

The project involved stripping the building to create warehouse style interior space, and supplementing the existing concrete structure with upgraded building elements such as new circulation fit outs, mesh exterior screens, alucobond façade elements, frameless glazing and glass canopies.

The lift shaft is designed for an additional office floor level, giving the building the potential for future expansion or re-inventing itself with flexible building uses.
