17 Shea Terrace takes the form of a two level medical or clinically orientated office building with basement level car parking of approximately 30 cars. The site is strategically located immediately adjacent to the North Shore Hospital and backing onto the ‘Quarry Lake’ and Lake Pupuke beyond.
This project was to be the first of two related neighboring buildings for Quadrant Properties on the ex quarry site. The clients experience in this type of development specified that the building be brick clad and conservative in its architectural articulation, although the resulting built form combines a reserved component of contemporary forms, design and materials.
The Client was able to immediately lease the building, and this success formed the basis for the development of the larger 15 Shea Terrace immediately next door.
